Wind on My Hair

Hi everyone!
We took this photos yesterday before going out, in the morning. We went to Figueira da Foz, a city near the sea close by. We went with some friends and wanted to go to the beach but there was so much wind that it was impossible to stay there so after lunch we came back home.
So about the look, I have this skirt form ages, is from Pepe Jeans, one of my favourite brands I I'm completly in love with the pattern! I paired it with a tiny crop top and put a ribbon around by forehead giving it a more boho look. Hope you like the photos!

Olá a todos!
Tirámos estas fotos ontem antes de sairmos de manhã. Fomos até à Figueira da Foz, que não fica muito longe de Aveiro. Fomos com amigos com vontade de ir à praia, mas havia tanto vento que se estavam a levantar nuvens de areia, assim que foi impossível ficar e depois de almoço voltámos para casa.
Quanto ao look, tenho esta saia há anos, é da Pepe Jeans, uma das minhas marcas favoritas, e adoro o padrão. Como é muito subida conjugei-a com um crop top mesmo curtinho e para dar um ar mais boho pus uma fita no cabelo. Espero que gostem das fotos!

Liebster Award

Hi everyone!
So today I bring you a different kind of post, hope you like it!
There is an online challenge between bloggers called the Liebster Award, where the bloggers nominate new bloggers with less than 200 followers. I have been nominated by Ana from "A Boémia Catita" (Thank you Ana!) and now I have to answer to 11 questions proposed by her:


1. Why create a blog?
I follow fashion blogs since 2009 and they have always been a great inspiration source on how to dress, what pieces to choose and to know the new trends. I like the concept of geting inspiration from real girls that dress for every-day-life instead of looking at skinny models with aute couture in the catwalks.
So after a lot of thinking and been encourajed by my friends and boyfriend I decided to take that step and try to inspire people just like others have inspired me.

2. What is the theme of your blog?
Mostly fashion, but I also like to talk about my day and if in the future I find an insteresting theme, I will talk about it.

3. With what lifestyle do you identify yourself the most?
I'm a hard working girl, and studying medicine takes a lot of work. I would like to have a more relaxing life but it is impossible with all the adrenaline of classes and hospital life

4. What do you think about the blogger community?
I discovered that it is a huge and diversified community which is great. There are bloggs about almost anything that you can think of and from every possible country and I love getting to know such different profiles.

5. Which was your inspiration when you created the blog?
I inspired in some bloggers that I've been following for years, but mostly I wanna show you my personal style and point of view. The idea is that you can have a career, be a responsible and hard working woman and still interest about fashion and be presentable every day.

6. How many posts do you do per week (on average)?
My blog is really young, the first 2 weeks I posted every day, but now I will try to do 3 to 4 per week.

7. What do you do on a daily basis to change the world?
I try to change the world of the people that surround me and especially the ones I love, I want to be a part of their lives and also want to share my life with them

8. What do you love most about yourself and why?
I consider myself a responsible and hard working person, all I have I got it trough my hard work and it is really important to always give our best to conquer our goals and dreams.

9. What were the difficulties you find after creating the blog?
At the beginning is really hard to have new readers and followers. We post full-hearted and tell our friends about the blog and ask to pass the word and every new follower is a victory!

10. Are you happy with your blog?
Yes, I am! I really happy I finally had the courage to do such an old dream and from now on I just hope to still have the time and opportunity to keep posting.

11. What did you think about this nomination?
I was really happy, as I said before, it is really hard to have new readers at the beginning and I am very glad that Ana thought the blog was up to the challenge!

Hoje trago um post diferente, espero que gostem! Existem um desafio online chamado o Liebster Award no qual bloggers nomeiam novos bloggers com menos de 200 seguidores. Eu fui nomeada pela Ana da "A Boémia Catita" (Obrigada Ana!) e agora tenho de responder a 11 perguntas feitas por ela:

 1.     Porquê criar um blog?

Há alguns anos que sigo blogs de moda (desde 2009 acho) e sempre foram a minha fonte de inspiração para vestir, aprender a escolher roupa e conhecer novas tendências. Gosto do conceito de tirar inspiração de raparigas normais, que se vestem para o dia-a-dia, em vez que modelos com roupas de alta costura feitas só para passerelles. Assim que, depois de muito pensar e de ser encorajada pelas minhas amigas e pelo meu namorado, decidi ganhar coragem e começar um blog, para também inspirar outras pessoas tal como me inspiraram a mim tantas outras bloggers.

2.     Qual o tema mais abrangido no teu blog?

O meu blog tem como tema principal a moda, mas também falo do meu dia-a-dia, e quando encontrar algum tema relevante também falarei dele.

3.     Com que estilo de vida mais te identificas?

Sou uma pessoa muito trabalhadora e o meu curso, Medicina, exige muito de mim. Gostaria de ter um estilo de vida mais relaxado mas com toda a adrenalina das aulas e vida de hospital é impossível.

4.     O que achas da atual comunidade de bloggers?

Acho que é uma comunidade muito grande e diversificada e isso é muito bom. Hoje em dia há blogs de qualquer tema e de qualquer nacionalidade e fico muito feliz de encontrar tantos blogs portugueses com tanta qualidade!

5.     Qual foi a tua inspiração na hora de criar o blog?

Inspirei-me em algumas bloggers que sigo há anos, mas principalmente quero transmitir o meu estilo pessoal e a ideia de que é possível ter um curso, um trabalho, ser uma mulher séria e com responsabilidades, e mesmo assim manter a sua identidade e o seu estilo e estar bonita e confiante.

6.     Em média, quantas publicações fazes por semana?

O meu blog é muito jovem, ainda nem 3 semanas tem, nas primeiras duas semanas publiquei cada dia, mas agora tentarei manter o ritmo de 3 a 4 publicações por semana

7.     O que fazes no teu dia-a-dia para mudar o mundo?

No meu dia-a-dia tento mudar o mundo das pessoas que me rodeiam para melhor, em especial as que amo, quero fazer parte dele e partilhar o meu com elas.

8.     O que mais gostas em ti? Porquê?

Considero-me uma pessoa trabalhadora e responsável, tudo o que tenho só o consegui com o meu trabalho e acho que é muito importante dar-mos o nosso melhor para chegar aos nossos objetivos e sonhos.

9.     Quais as dificuldades que encontraste e encontras depois de criar o blog?

Quando estamos no início é muito difícil ter leitores e seguidores novos. Publicamos com o coração, falamos do blog aos amigos e pedimos para passarem a palavra, e cada novo seguidor é uma vitória!

10.  Estás satisfeita com o teu blog?

Sim, estou muito feliz por ter tido coragem de concretizar um desejo tão antigo e daqui para a frente só espero continuar a ter tempo e oportunidade de postar no blog.

11. O que achaste da tua nomeação para este prémio?

Fiquei muito feliz com a nomeação, como já referi antes, no início é muito difícil ter novos leitores e fico muito feliz que a Ana tenha considerado o meu blog à altura!

On the Rooftop

Hi everyone!
How are you today?
Yesterday was a really windy day. We tried to go to the beach but there was sand flying all over and the sea had huge, huge waves, so we headed back home. We took this photos at the end of the day on the rooftop, and as you can see I had to struggle against the wind and it was hard to keep a straight face.
Later we went to have dinner with some friends and it was great! :)
About the look, I have already shown you this skirt here but with a different top. I get the feeling that whenever I'm wearing this skirt, there's sure to be a windy day!

Today I woke up with a really sad news, the amazing actor Robin Williams has passed away last night and I felt really sad because he was a great actor and almost sure he was a great person too and he was suffering for some time now and nobody deserves that. I only hope that he had a great life and wherever he is, that he is in a better place and at peace. We will always remember you, oh captain, my captain!

Como estão? 
Ontem foi um dia de ventania por aqui. Tentámos ir à praia mas havia uma tempestade de areia, guarda-sóis a voar por todo o lado, e ondas enormes com bandeira vermelha, e com tão más condições decidimos voltar para casa. Tirámos estas fotos ao final do dia no telhado, e como podem ver eu estive a debater-me contra o vento e era dificil fazer cara séria.
À noite tivemos um jantar com uns amigos e foi muito bom! :)
Quanto ao look, já usei esta saia noutro post aqui, mas com um top diferente. Começo a ficar com a sensação de que sempre que uso esta saia o dia vai estar ventoso!

Hoje acordei com uma notícia muito triste, o grande actor Robin Williams faleceu esta noite e fiquei muito triste porque ele era um grande actor, e tenho a certeza que também era uma grande pessoa, e estava a sofrer já ha algum tempo segundo dizem e ninguém merece passar por isso. Eu só espero que ele tenha tido uma boa vida e, onde quer que esteja, que esteja bem e em paz. Sempre te recordaremos, oh captain, my captain!

Hi everyone! How are you today?
Yesterday we took some photos before going out with some friends. When we arrived at the center of our town it was full of tourists and people with football jerseys - there was a game that day. We tried to go to a more calm place and went to eat an icecream that was really great! Is is true what they say, when you have good friends, you have everything! :)

Olá a todos! Como estão?
Tirámos estas fotos ontem antes de ir sair com amigos de tarde. Quando chegámos ao centro, estava imensa gente e confusão, tinhamos sido invadidos turistas e benfiquistas! Tentámos ir para um sítio mais calmo e fomos todos comer um gelado. É verdade o que dizem, quando se tem amigos, tem-se tudo! :)

Stars & Stripes Forever

Hi everyone!
So today was one of those crisis-of-the-wardrobe kind of days. I had cleaned my room just yesterday and within less than one hour I managed to put it upside down by trying on piece after piece of clothing. I was in one of those days when nothing seems to fit right, you know? And when that happens we all have our "salvation clothes", those outfits that always look good on you and that you have worn thousands of times. Well then, this little dress is also on the rescue party. I own it for four years now and it is one of my favorite pieces in my entire wardrobe. I wear it all year long because it is so pretty and versatile.
When I bought it, it was too big for me (like so many pieces, tiny person problem...) so I shortened it and I think now it fits really well.
I added the scarf to give it a special touch, the american flag has a very cool pattern. The sandals are the same as always, I know I should change a little bit, but these are the most comfortable pair that I own and I always wanna show you guys exactly what I wear (personally I think that those bloggers that take the shots with sky high heels look very pretty but afterwords I know they change to sneakers and they are being disloyal to their readers). So I'm sorry but you will see these sandals a loooooot this summer! But I will try to change more, I promise!
So about today, we took these photos during the afternoon, in a place nearby my boyfriend's house. And since he did so well and took such lovely photos I thought that is about time to introduce him officially to you, so you can meet the guy behind the camera! :)
At end of the day we went to dinner with some friends to our favourite Pizzeria and we had a wonderfull time :)

Olá a todos!
Então hoje foi um daqueles dias de crise de guarda-roupa. Tinha o quarto todo arrumado e em menos de uma hora consegui pô-lo de pantanas ao experimentar peça atrás de peça. Estava num daqueles dias em que nada parece ficar bem. E quando isso acontece todas temos as nossas roupas de salvação, aqueles conjuntos que sabemos que nos ficam bem e que já usámos vezes sem conta. Pois é, este pequeno vestido faz parte dessa pequena colectânea de salvamento. Tenho-o há quatro anos e é das peças preferidas do meu armário. Quando o comprei ficava-me um bocado grande (como quase toda a minha roupa, problemas de pinipom...) então fiz-lhe a bainha e acho que ficou a acentar bastante bem. Juntei-lhe este lenço para dar um toque especial ao look, acho que a bandeira americana tem um padrão muito bonito. As sandálias são as mesmas de sempre, sei que devia variar mais, mas são as sandálias mais confortáveis que tenho e quero sempre mostra-vos o que uso tal e qual (pessoalmente acho que aquelas bloggers que aparecem de salto agulha tão glamorosas e mal acaba a sessão mudam para sapatilhas estão a ser desleais com os seus leitores). Portanto vão ver estas sandálias muuuuitas vezes este verão, e peço desculpa por isso! Tentarei variar, prometo! :)
Quanto ao dia de hoje, tirámos estas fotos durante a tarde, perto da casa do meu namorado. E como ele hoje se portou tão bem e tirou umas fotos tão bonitas, acho que já está mais do que na altura de se fazer uma apresentação oficial, portanto no final podem conhecer o rapaz atrás da maquina! :)
Ao final do dia fomos jantar com amigos ao sitio do costume, a Pizzarte, e divertimo-nos imenso! :) Como eu adoro aquelas pizzas!

Maxi Skirt

Hi everyone!
So remember that I told you that today we were going to a medieval fair? Well, we were not that lucky... We're in August, right? It's the middle of the summer, right...? In summer is hot...right?! Hummm... Apparently I am wrong somewhere because as I drive by today it started raining like crazy and we had to turn back... It looked like those awful winter day with crazy rain! What is happening to the weather?!
We were really looking forward on going and we were very disappointed...
Luckily we arrived in time for lunch and we had the most amazing lunch with my boyfriend's family, i love them so much! :) they are really the most adorable of families! His youngest sister is a youtuber and has the most amazing videos, you have to check out this one, is super, super adorable!

After that we hang around the house and watched "Sweeney Todd" (huge fan of Tim Burton here! and humm Jonnhy Depp! <3)

Olá a todos!
Lembram-se de vos ter contado que hoje iamos à Feira Medieval? Pois... não tivemos sorte nenhuma! 
Vamos recapitular... estamos em Agosto, certo? Em pleno Verão... certo? No verão faz calor... certo?! Hmmmm.... Aparentemente estou errada algures porque à medida que ia conduzindo as gotas começaram a cair e em menos de nada estavamos no meio de uma chuva torrencial de Janeiro e tivemos de voltar para trás! O que é que está a acontecer ao tempo?!
Por sorte voltámos mesmo a tempo do almoço e tivemos um almoço fantástico com a família do meu namorado. Gosto tanto deles, são uma família mesmo adorável! :) A irmã mais nova dele é youtuber e tem videos fantasticos, têm de ver este, é super super fofinho! Vão adorar! :)

Durante a tarde ficámos por casa e vimos "Sweeney Todd" (grande fã de Tim Burton e hmmmm Jonnhy Depp! <3).
Ao final do dia fomos jantar fora e tirámos estas fotos no jardim que fica no piso de cima do Fórum Aveiro. Como podem ver o mau tempo continua... Mas espero que não dure!

The Secret Dock

Hi everyone!
Today I spent the day with my boyfriend, he went to London for a few days with his family, and I was missing him a lot, so when he finally arrived I was super happy! :)
We went to our favorite pizzeria for lunch (Pizzarte, it has the best pizzas in town!), then we went to the movies, we saw "The Guardian of the Galaxy", it is really good, it has great actors, great effects, laughing scenes, action scenes... it is a really good movie if you like Marvel.
At the end of the day we took a walk by a kind of secret and remote place near my house where the river passes by. It is really beautiful at sunset I though it was the perfect place to take today's photos. There were two fisherman there fishing crabs but besides them we were alone in the nature and that is why I love this particular place!
Tomorrow we are going to a medieval fair, next post I will tell you all about it! ;)

Olá a todos! 
Hoje passei o dia com o namorado, que foi passar uns dias em Londres com a família, e voltou finalmente. Eu por cá já estava cheia de saudades dele e ansiosa por o ver! :)
Fomos almoçar à nossa pizzaria favorita, a Pizzarte, onde se podem comer as melhores pizzas de Aveiro, e depois fomos ao cinema ver "Os Guardiões da Galáxia", é um filme muito bom, com bons actores, bons efeitos, cenas cómicas, cenas de acção, enfim, tem de tudo, é mesmo um bom filme para os que gostam da Marvel.
Ao final do dia fomos dar um passeio perto da minha casa, num sitio afastado e quase secreto, onde passa a ria. É um recanto mesmo bonito, especialmente ao pôr-do-sol, e achei que era o sítio ideal para as fotos de hoje. Tirando dois pescadores que andavam a pescar caranguejos, estávamos sozinhos com a natureza, e é por isso que adoro aquele sitio! :)
Amanhã vamos à Feira Medieval de Santa Maria da Feira, conto-vos tudo no próximo post :)
