Aqui estamos outra vez no final do mês e o tempo não pára. Foi um mês complicado e estou feliz de estar quase a chegar ao fim, porque daqui a nada vem "the most wonderful time of the year!" :)

Sim, adoro imenso o Natal e já estou a 100% no espírito natalício. Na próxima segunda-feira haverá um novo look com uma surpresa muito especial!

Scenes of a Weekend #2

Hi everyone!

So I'm back at Barcelona and was reviewing the pictures I took this weekend and tought about doing a more personal post. As I had some very busy days filled with great plans I tried to photograph it all and wanted to share with you what I did back home. I don't know if you like these kind of posts, but I love to see your daily life photos. I don't have the most amazing life, it's pretty normal, but nonetheless I wanted to share some moments with you. I know it's kind of ironic how I live in such a popular and idolized city but I mostly share moments with you about my small town. Well, living in Barcelona is great at the beginning, everything is new and big and awesome, but after a while it just gets normal. (One day I will make a whole post about it). And the biggest and happiest part of my life is in Portugal, so naturally my big moments and worth sharing happen there. Home is where the heart is, right?

Olá a todos!

Estou de volta a Barcelona e estava a rever as fotos que tirei este fim-de-semana e decidi fazer fazer um post pessoal. Fui lá poucos dias e foram todos muito prenchidos e muito, muito bons. Fui fotografando alguns momentos e queria partilhar alguns deles com vocês. Não tenho a vida mais fantástica de sempre, é bastante normal, mas a beleza do dia-a-dia está em cada um destes pequenos, tão normais e tão absolutamente maravilhosos momentos. 

É um bocado irónico viver numa cidade tão desejada e conhecida e depois só partilho com vocês os meus momentos em Aveiro. Viver em Barcelona é como viver em qualquer grande cidade, fascinante ao início, mas depois começa a parecer-nos tudo normal (um dia faço um post sobre isso). E a melhor parte da minha vida está em Portugal, assim que é lá que os melhores momentos acontecem. Home is where the heart is, right? 

Espero que gostem das fotos e de conhecer um pouco do meu mundo :)

Hi everyone!
So a few days ago I was watching Downton Abbey (one of my favorite shows) and, as always, admiring every dress and accessory they wear, especially Rose's and Mary's. And dressing up at the next day, still lost around the 20's, I decided to wear something long and loose, with lace and sparkle, and a hat of course, and this came out.
Sometimes I wish I had lived in those days. Of course there would be much down sides, but I feel that I belong there, in a simpler world, with so much courtesy and respect, with such fashions and beautiful dresses, and hats, and necklaces and gloves... So with the impossibility of being there I tried to take a little of its magic with me.

Olá a todos!
Há uns dias atrás estava a ver Downton Abbey (uma das minhas séries favoritas) e, como sempre, estava a apreciar cada vestido e acessório, especialmente os da Rose e da Mary. E quando me estava a vestir no dia seguinte, ainda perdida nos anos 20's, decidi vestir algo de forma diferente, com uma silhueta longa e solta, com renda e brilho, e claro, um chapéu, e este foi o resultado.
Por vezes gostava de ter vivido naquela época. Claro que tinha coisas muito más, mas sinto mesmo que parte de mim pertenceu lá, num mundo mais simples, com tanto respeito e cortesia, com as modas da época e os vestidos, os chapéus, os colares, as luvas... Assim que na impossibilidade de lá estar, trouxe um pouco da sua magia comigo.

Happy Birthday Inês!

Happy birthday Inês! :)
Today is the birthday of one of my best friends! She's turning 23 and since we unfortunately are apart today I prepared this post in order to bright her day a little more!
Inês is my oldest friend, we've been friends since we were 6 years old and never been apart since! She's a wonderful person and I am very, very lucky to be her friend! :)

Hoje é o aniversário de uma das minhas melhores amigas! Faz 23 aninhos e já que infelizmente não posso estar com ela, preparei este post para lhe animar ainda mais o dia!
A Inês é a minha amiga mais antiga, conhecemo-nos desde os 6 anos e nunca nos separámos desde então! Ela é maravilhosa e sou muito, mas mesmo muito sortuda de ter uma amiga assim! :)
Já passámos por tanto juntas, tantas memórias guardadas e infinitas mais por acontecer! :)
E para além de ser uma rapariga fantástica e uma talentosa arquitecta, também tem um blog de culinária que está divinal. Faço imensas receitas que ela partilha e digo-vos que nunca conheci ninguém que cozinhasse tão bem nem que tivesse tanta criatividade na cozinha, assim que espreitem o Between Kitchens, que tenho a certeza que vão adorar! :)
