Tere's Scrubs: polka dots

Hi everyone!
As I had told you on the last post today there would be a surprise and here it is, I'm starting December with a little gift to you!
For some time now I wanted to do a giveaway to thank you all for your love and support from this (yet) short existence of the blog, but I really wanted to give something unique and finally the opportunity came.
The other day I was on Primark when I discovered the cutest golden clutch. It was a bit plain but for the price I brought it home with me. That same night I was starring at it and suddenly I had an idea on how to improve it and make it special. I bought some purple sequins and glue and adventured in doing a sequin heart. It turned out really great, far better than my expectations of having a bag full of glue and misplaced sequins all over at the end.
After showing it to some girlfriends and seeing their positive reaction I decided to buy a second one a give it to you as a thank you. The heart in the second one is red to give it a Christmas touch and I think it would be the perfect accessory for your holiday parties.
I'll show you how I did it and if you like this DIY I will definitely try others because I'm full of ideas! :p

Olá a todos!
Como vos disse no último post hoje ia haver uma surpresa, e nada melhor que começar o mês do Natal a sortear uma prendinha! ;)

Já há algum tempo que queria fazer um giveaway para vos agradecer por todo o apoio e carinho que me têm dado nesta (ainda) curta existência do blog, mas queria oferecer algo único e finalmente a oportunidade surgiu.
No outro dia estava a passear pela Primark quando descobri uma clutch dourada mesmo bonita. Achei-a um bocado simples, mas pelo preço trouxe-a comigo. Nessa mesma noite pus-me a olhar para ela e de repente surgiu uma ideia, porque não trazer um pouco de cor? Assim que no dia a seguir fui comprar lantejoulas roxas e cola e aventurei-me a modificar a carteira. Fiquei muito feliz com o resultado porque estava mesmo à espera de acabar com a mala toda estragada cheia de cola e lantejoulas todas tortas, mas até ficou bastante bonito. Depois de a mostrar a algumas amigas e de me assegurarem que estava mesmo bem, decidi voltar à Primark, trazer uma segunda carteira dourada, decorá-la e oferecê-la a uma de vocês! ;)

A que estou a sortear tem um coração em vermelho para ser uma prenda muito natalícia e talvez brilhar ao vosso lado nestas festas! Espero que gostem da prenda, mais em baixo partilho como fiz este DIY e depois deste primeiro acho que mais virão porque fiquei cheia de ideias! :p

Hi everyone!
Starting off the week with a new look, it's a little too summery for today's grey day, because it was taken last week were there was still a bit of sunshine left.
This weekend I started to change my closet for the next season, putting away summer clothes and bringing the winter and autumn pieces. I don't know if I'm the only one but after months of not seeing these pieces I completly forget want I own and when I take them out is like I have new clothes! :p Could I be the only one?
That day I went with my boyfriend to his college dinner, a portuguese tradition, and since I'm studying abroad I was curious about what it was like.
It was really fun but at the same time felt kind of old looking at the new freshmen, acting so young and foolish, but I guess that's a part of growing, right? :)

Olá a todos!
Começamos a semana com mais look, um pouco veranesco ainda, mas foi tirado na semana passada, num dia em que fez calor e aproveitei para usar sandálias uma última vez.
Já comecei a arrumar a roupa de verão, com grande tristeza, e a retirar a roupa de Inverno nas caixas. Não sei se vos acontece o mesmo, mas depois de meses sem ver essas roupas, há peças que tinha esquecido que tinha e é quase como ter peças novas outra vez! :p Serei a única?
Neste dia acompanhei o meu namorado a um jantar de curso, como estou a estudar lá fora nunca tinha tido essa experiência, foi um jantar muito divertido, mas senti-me um bocadinho velha de mais em comparação com os caloiros que lá estavam, tão jovens e tão patetas, deslumbrados com tudo... Mas faz parte do crescimento, não é? :)
